The carillon and the tower

They are played live every day during the academic quarters, those 72 bells, 100 tons of bronze! And you can visit them, either by climbing the 271 steps of the tower or by experiencing the audio and video feed (in the Chapel) from the playing cabin high up in the tower.

The carillon is played at 12 noon and 5 pm weekdays and at many other times for academic ceremonies, weddings, and other events. And yes, we take requests!
